Collaboration
I have been working with blind photographer Rosita McKenzie for the last two and a half years, having met in Portobello, Edinburgh.
Our work aims to promote access to the arts by creating work which is both thought provoking and engaging.
I create tactile interpretations for Rosita's photographs. As a blind photographer, Rosita captures images in response to her surroundings and her creative imagination is realised through her photography. These interpretations allow Rosita, and other visually impaired people, to reconnect with the sighted world. Their work is displayed in conjunction with audio, braille and large print description, allowing for a more inclusive audience.
